In our department of Industrial Facilities we have long experience in building industrial premises and we give our customers an Integral Service. (Fully finished warehouses or industrial units).

Thanks to such extensive experience our Technical Department can advise you on the materials to be used, advanced shapes and designs and so on.

Next you will find a brief description of the most common materials used at each step or activity in the construction of your industrial premises.
· FOUNDATIONS

The function of this constructive element consists of transferring the loads to the ground and guaranteeing permanently the stability of the structure that also supports the weight of other elements such as walls, etc.

It usually consists of footings and beams, although in some cases it is necessary to use a monolithic concrete slab system (pouring the concrete foundation on the whole surface).

· RETAINING WALLS

In many occasions when circumstances call for it, it is necessary to build a perimeter retaining wall. Our company offers an alternative so solid and efficient as the traditional poured-in-place concrete wall built with the aid of a formwork system.
For some years now we have been using a type of block called “Wall block” in the market, in the two available sizes, 20 and 30-cm wide. Such blocks are placed in horizontal courses, remaining fully reinforced in the inside by means of 12-mm diameter re-bars placed vertically and double 12-mm re-bars placed horizontally as shown in the photograph. And finally, concrete is poured into the blocks.

· METALLIC STRUCTURE

Due to its lightness, resistance and small dimensions as opposed to other building materials, steel allows making the most of the interior space and makes possible to have larger distances between walls and/or columns to get open-plan floors.
We can consider two main different constructive systems:
1. TRUSSES; simple, sloping, saw teeth designs.
2. PORTICOS; mainly pitched for gable roofs or sloping.

· ROOFING

Today, there are different constructive solutions to cover our premises. In general the most frequently used products are galvanized corrugated sheets between 0,5 and 1,0 mm width. But another quite commonly used material is the Sandwich Panel (a polyurethane foam core and two previously lacquered metal sheets, an inferior sheet and a superior one).

· WALLS

Either 12 or 16cm-wide prefabricated concrete panels are the ideal solution for a quick, safe and compact wall. Another possibility of great elegance, that in addition provides a lot of brightness is the “Curtain Wall”; a system consisting of glass panels fixed to aluminium frames.

· FLOOR FRAMING

The concrete we use at the moment is the HA-25/A/20 Amb/IIa in a 15cm-thick layer. Once the electro-welded reinforcement mesh has been installed, we proceed to pour the concrete and to level it and later we apply a surface treatment with quartz diluted at 50% with granulated Corundum mineral. After finishing this process and before using the power float, we can choose among the different colours available in the market (grey, red, green, blue, to name a few).

· OFFICES, CHANGING-ROOMS, FENCES, etc.

To round off our work and to deliver the industrial premises completely equipped, we offer our customers a large number of possibilities for design and implementation of offices, changing rooms, fences of all kinds, etc.
